In The Kitchen
I have rediscovered cooking and baking and have been strictly following the recipe book my mum and grandmother always used when I was a little girl: Il Talismano della Felicità.
Tablescaping
I have been playing around with all the Cabana tabletop pieces I have at home, mixing and matching and finding new ways to play with the various collections. Layering and dressing a table has become for me a real passion and sometimes I find myself laying it even without an occasion. I call it day-to-day decorating.
Reading
I have been re-reading my favourite book as a teenager, Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Quite apt one would say and I love the interiors descriptions of the houses in Cartagena.

Keeping Busy
Lockdown has been my moment of overcoming video-shyness. We have launched a series of live conversations on the @cabanamagazine Instagram channel called “At Home with Cabana”. The calendar now has three a week which keeps me busy preparing for all of them. It’s been a great way to stay in touch with members of the #bigcabanafamily.
Watching
I have been watching old movies, focusing on the ones with great interiors. Out of Africa, The Leopard, The Duchess and the King’s Speech to name a few. Also, lockdown is a perfect time to watch a very long TV series and so I plunged into Mad Men. So good.

Beauty Must
I ordered quite a few Sisley products at the beginning of lockdown. My favourite one is the Black Rose cream.
Family Time
Lots of Trivial Pursuit games with my 2 older kids and the @misspilitc Instagram account for great activities to do with my 3 year old daughter, Cosima.
Buying
Shopping for my daughter on Imarmottini and Estelle Milano, two new kids brands founded by Italian friends.
