Sadly I am not a cook. I try to focus on my strengths, which are flower arranging, table setting, an amazing playlist and bringing together great friends.

Decorating the table…

Growing up with my mom was a lesson in creativity. She perfected the idea of imagination around the table setting, mixing exquisite flowers with antique objects, grapes and artichokes. The only rule was to make sure you could see your guests across the table.

The Little Drummer Boy by Bing Crosby and David Bowie.

I’ll be watching…

I stick to that Christmas classic, It’s a Wonderful Life.

I’ll be wearing…

Something with pizzazz, that’s festive and bright.

My festive tradition…

Putting every ornament and light possible on the Christmas tree, and at the end, my mother adding an angel that she got when my older brother was born.

My Christmas treat…

Retro desserts or gingerbread men (and women).

My Christmas smells like…

Pinecones, cinnamon and my husband’s cigars.
