Where To Stay
The Ivens Autograph Collection
If you’re in Portugal, a visit to the iconic city centre is a must. And what better way to do so than to stay right in the heart of Lisbon? The Ivens is located near the coolest historic destinations we have here, and also boasts one of the most beautiful restaurants in town – Rocco. If you want to live a dream life for a couple of days and enjoy your city experience to the fullest, this is the place to stay.
The Vintage
Avenida da Liberdade is the most luxurious avenue in town, where all the premium stores – Prada, Louis Vuittion, Burberry and Loewe, among others – are located. The Vintage Hotel is located here: situated in the city centre and decorated in a luxurious yet modern aesthetic, the building enjoys a timeless charm and imposing views.

Where To Eat
Ramiro
Ramiro is the most famous brewery in town. Known for its exquisite seafood and typical Portuguese environment, it is definitely a must-visit when in Lisbon. It’s a good idea to avoid the rush hours, since it tends to fill up very quickly.
Brilhante
Brilhante is a romantic and bold restaurant, located close to Bairro Alto and Cais do Sodré – two Portuguese nightlife hot spots. The menu is exquisite and every aspect of the restaurant exudes elegance and class. If you are looking for an evening of stylish dining, this would be my suggestion.
Água pela Barba
Água pela Barba is a famous Portuguese restaurant, known for its delicacies and tasty snacks. Situated in a historic neighbourhood, it has a laidback style, while still retaining an air of elegance – from its décor to the stylish plates it serves. This is definitely a “must-go” for me.

Where To Shop
Paris 7
I am passionate about décor and it wouldn’t make sense to talk about the best shops in town without mentioning Paris 7. This store is gorgeous and it has a great location: close to the river, in the classic Lisbon neighborhood of Santos. For me, this is the place to visit if you want to get to know the latest furnishing trends, exclusive products and statement pieces from international designers.
The Fitting Room
As a fashion lover, I couldn’t write this list without mentioning one of my favourite stores – The Fitting Room. Located near the elegant neighbourhood of Chiado, it is where independent brands sell their pieces. You’ll find unique designs, the latest trends, and up-and-coming labels, some of which are exclusively available here. I visit whenever I get the chance.

What To See
Jardim Tapada das Necessidades
This is the most beautiful garden in town. A rare and joyful spot, it is calm and serene; a place to enjoy silence, right in the middle of Lisbon. Here, reading a book and relaxing in the sunshine are mandatory.
Galeria da Madragoa
Madragoa is another of Lisbon’s most traditional neighborhoods, and this colourful location is home to a wonderful gallery. Being a contemporary art fan, I wanted to introduce you to a venue that is very dear to me, and Galeria Madragoa fits the bill. Visit to pick up pieces from up-and-coming artists.
Elevador da Bica
The Bica funicular is a symbol of Lisbon and should be on the tick-list for every visitor. Its beauty captures the identity of the city. During the Santos Populares in June – city parties where live music and street food are a must-have – Bica itself is my favorite destination. Situated in the centre of old Lisbon, it’s here that some of my best memories were made.
The Beach
I have a very strong connection to the sea, and Lisbon is 10 minutes away from incredible beaches. I cannot pick a favorite one, but love them all, from Linha de Cascais, to the beaches in Sintra or Costa da Caparica, located in the south margin of the river Tejo.

My Favourite Spot of all
My home
It’s my happy place, my safe haven, and the place where I love to be. It reflects my aesthetics and also who I am.
