About the artist: Rafferty is a multi-disciplinary artist working in collage, painting and assemblage. Passionate about found materials, she finds beauty in discarded items, seeing this as a frugal and relevant way of working in an era of mass production and waste. The ephemera that Kavel collects feeds into her artwork, incorporated alongside her own photography and hand-drawn compositions.
